Wake up

The quake and wave that hit Japan recently had caught the attention of people around the world. The magnitude of the earthquake was 9.0, one of the strongest ever recorded in history. This caused a massive 10-meter tsunami, and left hundred of thousands homeless not to mention the death toll around 10,000 people.

The tsunami also knocked out the backup diesel generators needed to keep nuclear fuel cool. The nuclear plants were in danger, and hopefully the Japanese government could fix the problems as soon as possible. Explosion could spread radiation and the effect will be exactly the same when the atomic bomb hit Japan during WWII.

The tragedy, the natural disaster that hit Japan should teach us a lesson. We won't know the precise time when all will be taken away from us. I think, we should wake up and don't take all the time we have in the world for granted. Act on your plans, and enjoy the sunshine while the sun is still shining:-)

You can!

Have you ever think of a great idea, but at the same time the voice in your head keep talking you out of it? If you have experienced this situation before, it means you chose to doubt yourself instead of believing in yourself.  Most of the successful people in the world have super duper level of confidence in themselves. They are the type of individuals who think they can. They think positive no matter what.

Maybe you will say that it's easy to talk about positive thinking than actually applying it in our lives. We are humans. Not angels or God. We are ordinary creatures. But remember, we are not trees, we have brains and the capacity to choose our own way for the better.

Be positive all the time. Plant good seeds into your head, and good fruits will come out multiplied. Read good books, there are many of them in the bookstore and if you can't afford buying them, go to the library and you can get all the information you want for free. Don't read trash, remember, you put trash into your head, you will get trash results.

The power of positive thinking is tremendous. It's not easy, but try planting good seeds into your brain and be astonished by the results.

You can do it, you are not a tree;-)

What they say about BELIEF?

It is my own firm belief that the strength of the soul grows in proportion as you subdue the flesh.

Muhammad Ali

Frisbeetarianism is the belief that when you die, your soul goes up on the roof and gets stuck.
George Carlin

We've persevered because of a belief we share with the Iraqi people - a belief that out of the ashes of war, a new beginning could be born in this cradle of civilization. Through this remarkable chapter in the history of the United States and Iraq, we have met our responsibility. Now, it's time to turn the page.
Barack Obama

It has always been my belief that a man should do his best, regardless of how much he receives for his services, or the number of people he may be serving or the class of people served.
Napoleon Hill

We have always held to the hope, the belief, the conviction that there is a better life, a better world, beyond the horizon.

Steve Jobs

The want of belief is a defect that ought to be concealed when it cannot be overcome.
Jonathan Swift

Belief is a wise wager. Granted that faith cannot be proved, what harm will come to you if you gamble on its truth and it proves false? If you gain, you gain all; if you lose, you lose nothing. Wager, then, without hesitation, that He exists.
Blaise Pascal

A major source of objection to a free economy is precisely that group thinks they ought to want. Underlying most arguments against the free market is a lack of belief in freedom itself.

Goals

Earl Nightangle in his famous "The Strangest Secret" audio that won the gold medal for personal development recording stated that out of 100 people, only 5 will really enjoyed their lives and able to achieve their dreams. This is shocking, but interesting as well. Earl continued by talking about how people don't have goals. People have wishes but not real goals, real goals are written on paper. To be effective, goals should be written down on paper.

They are many materials on how to set goals and how to work on them. Personally, I recommend books by Brian Tracy, Jim Rohn and also the classic self-help book Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill.

The most simple way is to jot down all your goals on paper and review them regularly. You will have your long- range goals, and also short-term goals. Long-range goals are those that take more than a year to achieve. Short-term goals are those between a day to a year to accomplish.

You can write down your goals in any way convenient to you. But the most important thing is, your goals should be on paper. Thinking about your goals in your head is not sufficient, writing them down will start your journey toward success. Be a student of the art of goal setting and you will be grateful for the decision.

I hope this helps my friends:-)

Persist and Win!

There are many stories about success, just google and you'll get the info. Most of the people who triumphed were born with disadvantages. But despite being born poor or with disabilities of some sort, they managed to make life surrender and provide them the riches they seek.

It's very fascinating to read such stories. What made these successful people stand out? What's the formula? First, winners know what they want. Then they create plans for achieving their dreams. The most important thing is they don't quit until they get what they want. They persist and turn their desires into tangible form.

In Think and Grow Rich, the author gives four steps to develop persistence:
1) A definite purpose.
2) A definite plan.
3) A mind closed against all negative influences.
4) Mastermind.

Cultivate these steps as habits and you will win! Good luck.
